The 2026 Long Island Teachers Benevolent Fund Len Motisi Memorial scholarship Application is now avaible to download. You must be a dues paying in-service member of NYSUT to be eligible. Applications can be mailed or sent through Inter-Office mail.

Greetings BEES members! Would you like to earn a free in-service credit? We have an exciting opportunity to offer you. A free course is being offered by our state affiliate, NYSUT – A Union of Professionals. It’s called “The Science of Reading – A Practical Approach for Educators” and it is applicable for all grades and both Special Ed. and CTE. This course can be used for NY state CTLE hours, but BEES leadership has worked with the agency, who have agreed that any certificated staff members who complete the course can be awarded 1 in-service credit instead of CTLE hours! (you can still earn CTLE hours if you choose to instead of in-service credit) Sign up today!
